HONORING THE ANIMUS OF OUR EVERYDAY OBJECT
Studio Ruhi is a multidisciplinary design studio engaging the intersections of
object, space, and ritual. Through three distinct pillars:
Ruhi Objects (curated home goods),
Ruhi Study (writings/workshops/critical dialogues),
&
Ruhi Environments (floral/spatial installation)
the studio engages material culture as both utility and narrative. Each offering functions as a study in how form, function, and meaning shape our lived experience and how we might live more consciously with the objects which surround us.
The word “Ruhi” comes from the Arabic word “Ruh” meaning “spirit”.
